All year we've been exploring our Word of the Lord for 2026: “Strengthen the Family to Multiply.”

• Season 1 (April–May): We anchored in Colossians, discovering what it means to be spiritual and relational family.
• Season 2 (August): We turned toward home, asking God to strengthen our family of origin.
• Season 3 (Now): We’re made to multiply.
  • Multiplication isn't a gift reserved for the "special" — it's the natural sign of life. Every seed that's alive reproduces. So whatever the Lord has placed in you — discipleship, work ethic, humility, honor, hospitality, a spiritual gift, a lifegroup — it's meant to multiply.
  • This season, we're exploring what it looks like to multiply what's within you. Reproduce what’s alive in you.

We are all called to multiply.

  • Short Context & Notes:
    • Genesis 1 presents creation as an ordered, purposeful unfolding across six days. God progressively establishes structure through separation and naming, with each act marked by divine approval. The account culminates in humanity’s creation as the pinnacle of God’s work. Humanity is given a mission to multiply and actively steward the authority over all living creatures.
    • In Genesis 9, after the flood destroyed humanity except for Noah, God renewed the blessing with Noah and his sons; commanding them to “be fruitful and multiply and fill the earth.”
    • Genesis 22 shifts the multiplication theme toward covenant promise: God swears to Abraham that his offspring will multiply “as the stars of heaven and as the sand that is on the seashore.” Throughout the patriarchal narratives, there is an emphasis on God’s active role in His desire to see humankind be fruitful and multiply.
